Join us on Thursday 28 October for an address by Ms Andrea Smith, Deputy Secretary for APEC 2021. Ms Smith will discuss New Zealand's virtual hosting of APEC 2021, including key themes and objectives, meeting clusters and the main leaders summit in November. Prior to her address, Victoria University of Wellington's Professor Siah Hwee Ang will provide a brief introduction of APEC, the history and some of the achievements since the inter-governmental forum was established in Canberra in 1989.
