The NZIIA Wellington Branch, in partnership with the Centre for Strategic Studies, is delighted to host the Ambassador of Finland, HE Mr Arto Haapea, to discuss current European security prospects and the interconnectedness of transatlantic and Indo-Pacific theatres.
Russia’s brutal aggression in Ukraine fundamentally changed the European and global security landscape. Just recently, Finland celebrated its first anniversary as a full member in NATO.
The Ambassador will also touch upon Finland-New Zealand relations including the FTA and what Finland has to offer for New Zealand.
Following Q&A a light lunch will be provided to guests in the adjoining room.
