Colin James is one of New Zealand’s most respected political journalists.

Known for his non-partisan approach to parliament, it is worth noting he didn’t vote while working as a commentor. A prolific writer ( Quiet Revolution, National at 80, New Territory, Unquiet Time ) his upcoming book is “Shaping Aotearoa” exploring the forces which impacted New Zealand during the 60s,70s and early 80s

This talk will examine how we have emerged from the “colonial chrysalis” to becoming self-defining.

This will be a stimulating and fearless examination about New Zealand’s current state and how we got there.
