NATIONAL OFFICE: Navigating Global Challenges
Thursday, 8 April 2021 at 6:00pm
Wave Room, Auckland University of Technology, Sir Paul Reeves Building, 2 Governor Fitzroy Place

SPEAKER: HE Laura Clarke, British High Commissioner to New Zealand

The world is changing around us: COVID, climate change, a shift in international alliances and global security, rapid technological change and a gravitational shift towards the Indo Pacific. 2021 is also a year of leadership for the UK, as it takes on the Presidencies of the G7 and COP26, working with partners to champion free trade, tackle climate change, and bolster open societies.

British High Commissioner Laura Clarke will join us to talk about the ever more challenging global context; the UK’s role and ambition on the global stage, and how the UK and New Zealand can work together on shared goals and shared values – bilaterally, in the Indo-Pacific, and beyond.

Refreshments will be served following the address.

On-street parking is available.
