AUCKLAND: Can the United Nations Accommodate the Enhanced Patriotism in Some Member States?
Wednesday, 4 March 2020 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Lecture Theatre 039 [Basement] Clock Tower Building, Princes Street, University of Auckland

SPEAKER: Dr Kennedy Graham, Director, NZ Centre for Global Studies

We start the year with an address by Dr Ken Graham.  His analysis of the United Nations in an age of patriotism will draw upon his experience as a scholar, diplomat, UN official, Member of Parliament, and NGO director.

As usual, a few of us will cluster for a drink in the bar of the Pullman Hotel in Waterloo Quadrant, as from 5 p.m.

This time we could not book our usual locale in Old Government House.  The Old Arts Building (aka more poetically as the Clock Tower Building) is adjacent.
