SPEAKER: Dr Michael Doran

Dr Michael Doran is a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute in Washington D.C., specialising in the international politics of the Middle East.  He is also a scholar with the Middle East Strategy at Harvard (MESH) project of the National Security Studies Program at Harvard University. 

His latest book, Ike’s Gamble was published by Free Press in 2016. Earlier, Oxford University Press published Doran’s Pan-Arabism Before Nasser: Egyptian Power Politics and the Palestine Question. He appears frequently on television, and has written extensively for Foreign Affairs, The American Interest, Commentary, Mosaic Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.
