Simon Edward John Walker CBE (born 28 May 1953) is a business advisor and consultatnt based in London.  He was Director General of the Institute of Directors from 2011 to 2016, having previously been Communications Secretary to HM Queen Elizabeth II and an advisor to former Prime Minister, John Major.   He was born and grew up in South Africa and has worked in media, politics and business in New Zealand, Belgium and the UK.   After graduating from Oxford in 1974, Simon became a TV journalist with TV One in New Zealand.  Over a period of five years he presented the current affairs programme 'Tonight'.  He stayed in New Zealand for fifteen years, and has visited here at least once a year ever since.

On 31 January 2017, he spoke to us on the subject " Is there a life after Brexit?"  Now, exactly two years later he returns with 20/20 vision.
